Who is Ms. Pemberton?

I first started teaching first grade in Camarillo at Dos Caminos in 2002. Then, in 2003, I started teaching 4th grade and have been ever since. In 2007, I joined the Tierra Linda family and I absolutely love this school community!
After spending a year with me, your child will know that I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan (my dad was Texas born and raised and I grew up watching and rooting for them), consider Reese's Cups in its own food group, an animal lover (have a rescue cat and two retired racing Greyhounds), and LOVE to read. I do not have children of my own, but the 30+ I spend my weekdays with fill my heart plenty. I may not have "human" children, but I do have some "fur" children. Read below to see who keep me company at night while I grade or work on lesson plans :).

And here is my 10 year old greyhound, J.D. He was a racer down in Mexico, but was just not too good at it. He was retired, and luckily for me, I was able to adopt him. This here is his favorite position to sleep in, and boy does he sleep a bunch. He puts Marley to shame by his higher grades in the subject of Napping.
